Following my trial of JosephsBrau Hefeweizen, I was excited to try their Summer Brew. Having seen it ranked as the third best beer exclusively carried by Trader Joes, in this Business Insider article, I knew this would be good. The hefeweizen obliterated my expectations going in. While its not the most amazing beer I have ever tried, it is a damn good one - and, at $1.17 a bottle, I was not going to complain.

Going into this review, I had never heard of Cactus Cat Kolsch or its brewers, Nine Band Brewing. Upon further research, I discovered Allen based (near Dallas, TX), Nine Band brews 9 beers of differing styles.

Blue Moon has drawn significant controversy as some believe it is masquerading as a craft beer, despite being brewed by one of the largest brewing companies on the planet. This issue escalated with a 2015 class action lawsuit, alleging Blue Moon of using inappropriate branding tactics to capitalize on the growing trend of craft brews.
Beer Review – Abita Strawberry Lager
The Abita Brewing Company, located about 30 miles outside of New Orleans, was opened in 1986. In its first year, the brewery produced 1,500 barrels of beer. The company grew quickly. A typical year now involves the production of more than 151,000 barrels of beer and almost 10,000 barrels of root beer!
