In recent times, Fort Worth TX’s Martin House Brewing has trended regularly with some pretty whacky beer flavors. When I saw this one, I couldn’t help but check it out.
Beer Review – Bearded Bastard
The past year has been a whirlwind for all, but it’s been particularly momentous for the folks at Longtab Brewing. One of San Antonio’s newest breweries, they’ve just hit the one year milestone. I’ve the last year I’ve been lucky enough to try many of their brews and have enjoyed the experience.
Master of Marzen 2020 – Championship Final: Eight Bridges Brewing vs. Twisted Spike Brewing
44 breweries entered the tournament and only two remain for a chance to be Master of Marzen 2020. This one will be epic, let’s get rolling.
Master of Marzen 2020 – 3rd Place Final: 4 By 4 Brewing vs. Double Nickel Brewing
Two amazing brews who almost made the Championship Final. I’m looking forward to seeing which brew can claim 3rd place!
Master of Marzen 2020 – Semifinal 2: Twisted Spike Brewing vs. Double Nickel Brewing
A spot in the final and a chance for the title are on the line here. Both beers are excellent and I can’t wait to see how it shakes out.

Paulaner is one of the biggest names in Oktoberfest brews, but Double Nickel has been a very impressive first-time entrant in this tournament. This one will be epic.
