This week I made a trip to my local craft beer bar and picked up some tasty brews! Big ups to The Growler Exchange on Broadway, San Antonio, for stocking these tasty brews. And yes, two are from the same brewery. El Segundo is a more recent option in this market, and I’ve been trying to get my hands on their beers for some time.

Battle of the Beers – August Reviews
August was a crazy week in San Antonio. From an eclipse to a hurricane, it's been one of the oddest months of my life. Amongst the madness, I managed to review 15 beers and also published eight articles about the beer industry. Let's start with the beer reviews from worst to first.
Beer Review – Stone Ripper Pale Ale
If you've ever checked out the craft beer communities of prevalent social networks, odds are you have come across Stone Brewing before. Creating popular brews such as Ruination and Tangerine Express, Stone Brewing's reputation for quality craft beer lays on a solid foundation. The only Stone beer I had tried in the past was Arrogant Bastard, which is in a grey area as it was originally a Stone brand but went solo in 2015. As far as I can tell, it is still owned by the same people.
