Beer Review – Kirin Ichiban

Like many other Asian lagers (including Singha and Tsingtao, among others) this beer was clearly brewed with a warm, humid climate in mind. Having visited Japan in a rather muggy September, I can imagine Kirin Ichiban would be incredibly pleasant to break through the humid haze.

Beer Review – Shiner Light Blonde

While many avid beer drinkers will likely be disappointed and underwhelmed, Shiner Light Blonde is a pleasant step up on many of its direct competitors. With its light flavors, thin texture and high carbonation, it is very refreshing while not overly interesting.

Beer Review – Singha

While I have never been to Thailand, I can imagine this beer would be a welcome refuge in a hot and humid climate. It has enough personality to let you know you are drinking a beer while remaining very light and refreshing.

Beer Review – EOS

EOS hefeweizen is one of the 6 beers brewed year round by award winning Nebraska Brewing Company. Founded by Paul and Kim Kavulak, the Nebraska Brewing Company began as a hobby. Between 1992 and 2005, Paul dabbled in home brew, constantly trying to improve his brews.

Beer Review – Bombshell Blonde

Founded in 2007, Southern Star is a rapidly growing brewing company based in Conroe, TX. Despite its short operational history, Southern Star has steadily grown its name and distribution. The brewery now distributes its wares in Texas, Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and South Carolina.

Beer Review – Blue Moon Belgian White

Blue Moon has drawn significant controversy as some believe it is masquerading as a craft beer, despite being brewed by one of the largest brewing companies on the planet. This issue escalated with a 2015 class action lawsuit, alleging Blue Moon of using inappropriate branding tactics to capitalize on the growing trend of craft brews.

Beer Review – Paulaner Hefe-Weizen

In 2016, Paulaner produced 1 million hectoliters (thats 26,417,205.2 gallons) of beer which is consumed in over80 countries. This translates to 211,337,641.6 pints of Paulaner consumed in one calendar year, which is fairly impressive in my eyes.
